Beautiful But Disappointed

I just received my order. And for as beautiful as it is - slender, sleek, supple...
It has 3 significant drawbacks
1) It is too short for US Dollars. The dollars fold or roll up or bend. But they do not slide in well.
2) the credit card slots are too deep
3) the leather dye on the cognac color absolutely stinks of petroleum or other oil based dye. It is a very abrasive, unpleasant smell.
I am totally disappointed.

Dear Steven- thank you for your reply. This is Christopher Bosca, owner, responding. First of all, please know that you are welcome to return the wallet for an exchange or refund. We truely want you to be happy and satisfied. Nothing further that I will say changes that. Reviews are important for us and we pay attention to this feedback in our product development and manufacturing. 1) It took me a bit to understand your comment 'too short for US dollars' The pockets intended for currency are the flap pocket on the left and the deep well pocket. These fint US and EU currency. No other pocket is intended for currency. 2) It seems that you have a point in that the bottom credit card pocket is a bit too deep. We will make this correction in future production. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. 3) Regarding the odor we checked our inventory of this style. It has the normal odor of our Old Leather. This is an Italian vegetable-tanned leather. It is hand-stained with analine dyes. There is nothing petroluem based in any part of the production. We feel that Old Leather has the scent of 'real leather' and actually we are quite proud of this traditional scent. We acknowledge that odor is in the nose of the beholder, so to speak. If it is not to your liking we respect that opinion and, again, invite you to return or exchange the product. I will ask our Ohio-based customer service team to reach out to you.

Wish I could send my old wallet to you...

I'm almost 65 years old now. Bought my first BOSCA wallet probably,I'm guessing, nearly 20 years ago. It's worn and should have probably been replaced some few years ago. But, it still functions. Not like the new days.
I'm about to upgrade to a new wallet. I deserve it I think BOSCA quality is unmatched in my opinion. One of the only the things in my life...I got more than my monies worth of.

My Father Loved It!

So to emphasize the experience, I will only talk about when I thought that I was paying extra for more so expedited shipping so I can get the product in a timely manner which I had ordered a vertical Italian made wallet. I wanted to have engraving/monograming done to the product to create a more personalized gift for the holiday Xmas.

What I didn’t know from what I was understanding that things that get monogramming are delayed by a certain amount of time and I believe that when I ordered the product I missed the time frame that was allowed for things to arrive in a timely manner. Customer service told me that everything that deals with the monogramming was explained on the website; I responded telling them I clearly did not see that at all, and if there is a policy for that, it has to be highlighted at all times.

I told customer service that I was going to be out of the area as in hundreds of miles away, and I would be extremely upset if the product was left at my doorstep while I’m not there. The woman that I was talking to was extremely pleasant and very generous and expedited the shipping for free.

I buy a lot of expensive travel bags from Tumi predominantly, but I haven’t had this level of service in terms of shipping so that impressed me alone.

I will absolutely buy something else from this company again, and I am highly recommend them after seeing the product in person when I came back from my getaway. My father absolutely loved it and I want something from this company myself now.
