I bought my first bosca wallet in july 1994 as a graduation present for myself. I've used it continuously till today, roughly 27 yrs, 2 months. It was made of sharkskin and hands down, a one of a kind, best in class, gem. I took it to 30 different countries and there's nothing it hasn't seen or done. I love it but it's finally had enough so I'm going for number 2.

I got my new one today but it's not the same. Different feel. I'm hoping it's just because it's new. I only gave it a 4 because I'm disappointed you don't make sharkskin wallets anymore. I think the leather is better quality and tougher. Anyway, I'm hoping that I'll get at least 12 years out of this one. If so, it will have been worth the money.

Here's a funny for ya. My old man laughed when I dropped $100 on a wallet right out of collage. Said I'll never be rich spending money like that. At about the 12 year mark when I was still using my $100 wallet and he was on roughly number 12 of his $20 wallets he complemented me on my decision. That christmas I gave him his first bosca and he's still using it today, 9 yrs later. Thanks, for a great first wallet.

You should find the leather you selected very well-wearing. We are sorry that we lost a star due to the fact that we no longer sell shark. While most species of hark are not endangered many are now threatened. We try very hard to be a responsible brand so, no more shark!
