Give this a chance.

I, too, was hooked on the trifold, six-hook case but decided to give this one a try. Now i’m a believer. It’s much less bulky so easier to put into and take out of your pocket; plus, it relieves you of the agony of coins falling all over the place every time you pull it out.

A small masterpiece of minimalism

When my 20+-year-old bosca 6-ring key case died peacefully of old age, I cast about for a replacement. My first stop was the bosca website because my last bosca experience had been so satisfying, but was disappointed to find that the company no longer sold a traditional 6-ring case. I tried out a very nice soft leather case from leatherology which was similar in style to my old key case, but it turned out to be even larger and bulkier, and the rings couldn't hold one of my thick luggage keys. Then I took another look at the bosca vachetta key case. I had my doubts about whether it would keep all my keys readily accessible while protecting my pockets and their other contents from metal points and edges, but decided to give it a try. I'm delighted that I did. It does everything it's supposed to do while taking up less space in my pocket than its predecessor; has a pleasantly well-crafted look and feel, and is designed without the stitched edges that inevitably come undone over time. My only negative reaction is that it may be good for more decades of hard use than I am, which makes me jealous of the years it could spend adorning one of my grandson's pockets. I'm doing my best not to pre-grudge him the pleasure.
